Mint has a vacancy for a Data Journalist. We are looking for someone who
has preferably, a working degree in Statistics or Economics. Familiarity
with key economic data-sets on macro-economic and development indicators,
and general economic awareness is a must. The applicant would also need to
know basic methods of statistical inference using MS Excel. Familiarity
with statistical packages such as ‘R’ and data-scraping techniques (from
websites and pdf files) would also be required. Previous work/research
experience with economic/corporate databases is desirable, though not
