Hi,

I'm with Bayes Impact <http://www.bayesimpact.org/>; we're a Y
Combinator-backed nonprofit that deploys teams of top data scientists and
software engineers to solve big social challenges. As a quick overview,
we've done data science, software development and data viz with
organizations such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, US Department of
Health, Michael J. Fox Foundation, and others.

We are cooking up a new data journalism initiative focus on the social
sector. The aim of this initiative is to draw attention to big social
challenges and show how data is able to understanding/help/solve these
challenges (here is one of our piece on *microfinance*).

We're looking for contributions from data-scientists/journalists who have a
keen interest in social impact. Let me know if you'd like to explore
further, happy to jump on a call anytime!

All the best,

Sarah.
