Most companies and organizations recognize data as a critical asset. Yet
extracting actionable information from big data requires a highly
specialized skill set. IBM predicts the demand for data scientists will
rise 28% by 2020. This year alone, 4-5 million jobs will require data
analysis skills.

How can organizations recruit and retain top talent in data science? And,
even though demand for data scientists may exceed supply, how might we
build and sustain a diverse, equitable and inclusive organization? Many
organizations and leaders don’t try out of fear of failure and a lack of
clarity on where to begin. What do we tackle first?
