Hello Bert,

Thank you for this clarification. However, the question still remains why the list is completely new every day while, according to OKF, it should reflect the accumulative counting of views since the last reset of the database. Has this issue been investigated, too?

here are answers to the next questions:

Q: The most views count measures what?
A: Unique views (where uniqueness is determined by a hash of the browser, IP address and language)
Q: does ckan_clear_activity_table.sh has impact on the most viewed items?
A: No, that is a different database table (which should not written to any more).
