[epsi-coord] News shift

Maybe this is a bit too trivial, but I saw a short news bulletin last week
about an open data project around the 'Gentse Feesten', a popular ten day
festival held in Ghent right now. Since Ghent is one of the political
frontrunners on open data (see our earlier guest blog:
http://www.epsiplatform.eu/guest_blogs/appsforghent_moving_open_data_forwa
rd_in_belgium), they're providing raw data focusing on the official
festival calendar and geographic data on public toilets (see here for a
summary in Dutch:
http://www.gentsefeesten.be/nieuws/gentse-feesten-kiezen-voor-open-data;
or http://www.gent.be/open). It's not hugely spectacular, but they do have
some apps available now, which is a nice demonstration of the social and
PR value of open data (better apps for tourists!). I can do a short news
blurb on that, if you're interested. Might be a good continuation of the
guest blog.
Cheers,
Hans
