Dear Szymon,

Thank you for your feedback, which we will gladly take in to account. We plan to send out an e-mail to our mailing list (3000+ subscribers) as well as promote the survey on Twitter to get responses. I will prepare the launch of the survey for tomorrow morning, and provide a response deadline of 2 weeks. This way the results will be available by the end of August.

best,

Ton Zijlstra

Dear Ton,

As agreed during yesterday conversation, I would like to confirm that the questionnaire is OK for launch.
My only suggestions would be to quickly run a spell-check on it as there seem to be a few typos.
Also, I think it would be more productive to send around the survey asking for feedback within a given deadline (if you have a mailing list that you could use to that effect).

In addition, you should of course embed the survey on the website. But relying solely on spontaneous feedback from visitors is a bit risky: instead of a representative sample you are most likely to get the views of the disgruntled ones.

Kind regards,
Szymon

Dear Juan, Szymon,

Szymon, nice to meet you. Juan, thank you for introducing us. We are looking forward to continue our work with you. My responses to your listed issues are given below.

Please find attached two new Topic Reports, dated 3 June, on data visualization and data wrangling tools, for your approval. We'll discuss the charging practices topic in our conference call and provide you with our advice.

Later today we have our weekly conference call with the ePSIplatform team, where I'll hear from Marc and Daniel as organizers where we are on the sectoral workshop in September.

The ePSIplatform technical specifications are the following: The CMS is Drupal 6.23 (open source) running on MySQL 5.1.41. and PHP 5.3.2-1ubuntu4.9 currently on a Linux based hosting environment with a professional hosting company in the UK.

We've redesigned the questionnaire and are ready to deploy it at once. It is available for you at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RLYMDVY

Looking forward to your responses, as well as hearing from you regarding the PSI Scoreboard which we're eager to republish.

best regards,

Ton Zijlstra

Hi Ton,

A couple of issues.

- The PO replacing will be Szymon LEWANDOWSKI (in copy of this mail)

- Please submit TR to both of us for approval ( You are well behind schedule of this). A topic we would want to look into is current charging practices in all MS. Please provide us your views on this.

- We need an update on the September TRANSPORT Data Sectorial conference ( venue, programme, speakers, etc)

- We need urgently ALL the technical specifications( current IT architecture, servers, and content management software details, etc) of the website.

- We have not received a revised version of the questionnaire for the evaluation of the service nor an indicative time frame nor approach. THIS IS VERY URGENT SINCE A FINAL REPORT MUST BE AVAILABLE END OF AUGUST with a reasonable sample replying to the questionnaire.

- We will provide you an update on the PSISCOREBOARD shortly.

Thanks

Juan

Dear Juan,

I'm sorry we did not get to speak yesterday morning. I kept an eye on my telephone until I needed to leave for the airport, and afterwards was unreachable. Today and tomorrow are difficult to point to times where I could be available, so I hope the short list I sent you Monday already is of use for you.

best,

Ton

Dear Juan,

Next Wednesday I am traveling between Vienna and Zurich (Austrian and Swiss national open data conferences). I will find out when precisely I am flying (the organisers booked it), and when I'd be available for a phone call on Wednesday.

Can you tell us who the new project officer will be, or is that still unknown?

best,
Ton

Dear Juan,

Thanks for e-mailing, good to hear from you! I have been traveling this week, without continuous access to my e-mail.
Currently I'm in Trieste to explain the EU open data strategy on a conference. After my talk later this afternoon I will try and find a space to sit down and create a summary of where we currently are.

We also have some documents to pass on (reworked evaluation questions and two TRs). I had asked Richard Swetenham earlier whom to pass them on to, assuming that after June 1st you would have moved on to new tasks. Would you like to receive those documents still, or should I send them directly to a new project officer?

Can you tell us who the new project officer is? It might be useful to also have a phone conversation with him/her in the near future?
best,

Ton

Ton,

I would need an update all your activities as I hand over the file to a new Project Officer: Topic Reports, Evaluation of Platform, etc, etc

Juan
