[epsi-coord] planning and budget conference

I have discussed the liquidity issues with my bosses. Zenc will be providing cash to cover a period where the team might not be solvent. I.e. Paying in advance for venues and stuff will be possible for us. Thought you'd like to know!

I have also started talks with our General Manager to see whether Zenc/Hec can provide sponsorship for the event. We will discuss this Wednesday.

However, Zenc/Hec will not cover any structural shortcomings in the conference budget.

In the dropbox you will find the updated excel sheet (‘planning document conference’) on the conference, holding the detailed planning (worksheet ‘planning’) and an overview of the offers I received from the three potential venues (worksheet ‘budget’).

I kindly request you to study them, as I would like to walk through during the next CC. As the event is likely to become quite substantial, we will need to divide work. Also, like I said before, if we want to stick to one of these locations, we need additional funding.

In any case, I am sure we can turn this into a big success and I am looking forward to work on this. I wish you a great, successful and above all healthy 2012
