I'd have to say, I like the imagery.

What I miss though, is a bit of context.

 *   What is the manifesto?
 *   For whom, by whom?
 *   What's our clear message? I like the first part of the 'storyline', but I don't know what is meant by backwards/forwards? Also, point 5, what is it about?

I think there should be a bit more text in the final poster. This text is really what the manifesto is about, so I'd say that in some way or another, the (abridged or full) text of the manifesto should be incorporated.
