Dear All,  

On November 28th ICRI and LAPSI2.0 are 
organizing a day-long conference on the EU directive on legal aspects of re-use 
of public sector information. The conference " Untangling the issues surrounding 
Open Data " will include expert speakers in the field of intellectual property, 
privacy and data protection and licensing. During the panel discussions you will 
be able to gain more insight on the remaining issues, future developments and 
re-use examples of various member states. There will also be opportunities for 
you to share your experiences and discuss these issues with our wide network of 
stakeholder representatives and data enthusiasts.

On the 17th of July the European Commission Published guidelines aimed at encouraging the re-use of PSI in order to help Member States benefit from the revised PSI Directive.
