Unfortunately I think I will still be in Amsterdam for this. Is anyone
free to go along to represent the OKF? It could be good if someone from
the Executive Group was able to pop their head in!

Dear Colleague,
I hope this message finds you well. In June, I wrote to you with an
update on some key Young Foundation milestones over the past few months
as well as a brief about projects and activities in the pipeline. I am
writing to you now to invite you to *18 Victoria Park Square* to see and
hear for yourselves how far we have come since our re-launch in 2005 and
where we are heading.
On *Tuesday, 21 October 2008* from *3-6pm* we would like to invite you,
our founding supporters and partners, to an afternoon of reflection,
light celebration, and showcasing. I will lead the afternoon with
highlights of the last three years and what we hope to achieve in the
next 3-5 years. This will be followed by programme and project ‘tasting’
sessions led by Young Foundation staff – providing you with a chance to
find out about current projects and programmes.
We are delighted that Toby Young, Michael Young’s son, will be joining
us with his own reflections and musings about Michael, the Young
Foundation, and British politics and society. Toby is a writer and
journalist and is famous for /How to Lose Friends and Alienate People/
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How_to_Lose_Friends_and_Alienate_People_%28memoir%29>,
the tale of his failed five-year attempt to make it in the U.S. as a
contributing editor at /Vanity Fair/
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanity_Fair_%28magazine%29> magazine, as
well as /The Sound of No Hands Clapping/
<http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=The_Sound_of_No_Hands_Clapping&action=edit&redlink=1>/,/
a follow-up about his failure to make it as a Hollywood screenwriter.
The afternoon will close with light refreshments.
