Is anyone interested in going to Edinburgh in late July for the
Repository Fringe event to be held at the School of Informatics,
University of Edinburgh?

Jonathan - I'm writing to invite the Open Knowledge Foundation to
participate in the second Repository Fringe event to be held at the
School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh on July 30/31. I have
attached our 'call for participation' which we hope to announce to the
repository community later today.

Following on from various JISC strands and initiatives it is our aim
this year for our programme to have an 'open data' flavour and as such
we'd be particularly interested to hear about CKAN, Open Data Commons,
your Open Knowledge Definition. I also noted that new to your
executive group is James Casborn whose biog. mentions that he'll be
contributing to the Foundation's work on 'an open data grid and on
open data in science'.

We'd be delighted to have OKN participate in a round table discussion
or tutorial, or indeed a formal or 'pechu kuchu' presentation.
