Thanks for this response. I think I'm suffering more from a
free-floating anxiety around UK employment and tax law, which a quick
tour around Business Link (the government advice portal for businesses
and employers) has managed to soothe. The only outstanding issue is
around whether this position is offered as a fixed-term contract or on
a consultancy basis, but I think that the candidate will define this
as much as anything. So I'm going to go ahead and post this on the
blog today.
