[iRail] platforminfo outside connection

Hi folks,

I need to retrieve platforminfo on the stops of a vehicle. I can see
two ways now: request a connection to the station, or use the
liveboards. Retrieving a dummy connection, I can at pool two platform
infos in one request and looks like something I can do a long time in
advance, but processing seems to be more simple in the other scenario.
Any other suggestions on this topic?
