[public-lod2] Prague Open Data Meetup #7: Linked Open Cities (October 6, 2013)

Dear all,

continuing in the tradition of open data events collocated with LOD2
plenary meetings, we'll have another side event featuring speakers from the
LOD2 project in October in Prague. This time, it will be the 7th Prague
Open Data Meetup focusing on opening and linking city data. The meetup will
be held in the evening of Sunday *October 6, 2013.*

These are the presentations you may look forward to:

- Sören Auer (University of Bonn): Why Open Data should be linked
- Thomas Thurner (Semantic Web Company): A policy of small steps: Open
Government Data becomes mature Linked Open Government Data – the Vienna
example
- Sander van der Waal (Open Knowledge Foundation): How the Open Data Census

- Pavla Brady (1st Deputy of the Mayor of Opava): Open Data in Opava
- Roman Řípa (Rozpočet obce): Explore & Influence Your Municipality Budget,
start at your doors to improve the whole country
