Hi all and apologies for cross posting!

Aspiration and the engine room are excited to be hosting the first-ever
Responsible Data Forum.
The event will take place 6 March, 2014 at Preservation Park in Oakland,
California, on the heels of RightsCon in San Francisco
(http://rightscon.org, and with the help of OKFN as an agenda partner.

The Responsible Data Forum is a series of events and activities
conducted in the first half of 2014. This kick-off event in Oakland will
be an opportunity to begin mapping issues, resources, actors and needs
for responsible data-driven advocacy. Participants will have a unique
opportunity to enhance their understanding of the ethical, security and
challenges posed by data, to contribute to building concrete tools and
resources to address them, and to help chart the course for the
Responsible Data Forum moving ahead.

Details on agenda, registration and some of the issues likely to be
addressed are all available at
https://www.theengineroom.org/responsible-data-forum-oakland/.
