Hi all,
Yesterday, CityBeat <http://EU Urban Data to Decide (UD2D) project>project
(led by Cornell Tech), described as "an effort to study city life from real
time social media data" was launched. There are already some similar
projects for example the EU Urban Data to Decide (UD2D) project, and also Human
Ecosystems <http://human-ecosystems.com/home/>.
I was wondering whether anyone has had any experience about public
reactions (or from any interest group) to these sorts of initiatives,
especially since the debate about if information that is public should
necessarily be reusable is on-going?
Cheers,
Sally
