[ogdcamp] Long live #ogdcamp ;-)

Hi all,

Just a quick note to say a *huge* thank you to all our partners,
steering committee members, speakers, moderators, workshop
coordinators, advisors, impromptu volunteers, notetakers, venue
decorators and many others who helped to pitch in to make Open
Government Data Camp 2011 the success that it was.

As you might expect, we've been busy digesting the camp, dealing with
post-event logistics, and compiling material from the camp into a big
dossier that will be arriving in your inbox very soon!

We just wanted to say that we very much hope that #ogdcamp can become
an annual festival for the (emerging) international open data
community. As one participant put it, "the open data community's
Christmas party". Hence we hope that you start to think of #ogdcamp as
your event too. We'll keep this list alive for people to post ideas
regarding next year's camp and future events. We hope you'll stay with
us.

In any case - I hope you enjoyed the event as much as we did, that you
met some new people, put faces to names, and made some plans for the
coming year.
