dear all,
http://wiki.okfn.org/okscotland
This now has programme with timings and the notes on logistics moved to
another page: http://wiki.okfn.org/okscotland/logistics
Here follows the current contents of that page:
Logistical Considerations
-------------------------
* Email lightning talk presenters to ascertain whether they still
intend to present. If so, title of the talk will be requried for the
programme
Stuart has done this, 9 people so far responded.
* Email delegates to enquire as to what OS (Mac/Windows/Linux), any
other technical or special requirements,
* Do we have adequate laptop coverage - should we sign out 2 or 3
from EDINA?
There will be 3 macs there attached to the slide wall and another one
for the main projector.
* Where do we source microphones? Is there a cost associated?
Argh i forgot to ask about the microphones - Mark mentioned in email
that some new ones were being tested there, but there was no induction loop.
* Also, where to source flip charts, pens, sticky labels etc?
Jo will pick up this stuff on Wednesday
* Provide adequate signage for those unfamiliar with the
Informatics Forum/InSpace
Can print signs in the morning Thurs
* Posters/slide wall - from EDINA, AQMeN, RCAHMS?
I reckon we should solicit more, there will be lots of time during the
drinks to stare at the walls.
* UStream/AV feed - do we have time/facilities/inclination to set
this up?
Nicola has promising work on this, and we'll also have a recording.
* Registration desk, delegate packs? Space for fliers, sign-up
sheet (physical or electronic via wiki) - for those individuals that
would like to collaborate or discuss further issues raised during the event
We can put a table near the entrance and have sticky labels and "Open
Knowledge" and "Open Data" stickers and tick ppls names off a list if we
so desire.
* Regarding drinks (6.15-7pm). Do we want to acquire further
freebies such as pens, bookmarks?
* local IT technician?
There will be a technician there around 3pm but perhaps not later or
constantly.
* Do we want the 'clinic' to be at start, middle or as the last
event before the wrap up?
Jo emailing Charlotte and Andres to ask
* has someone been identified to do the welcome?
Michael Fourman seemed happy enough to do it, though i wonder if we
should have asked Peter or whether they could both do short remarks
