[okfn-advisory] executive search update

*All, As you know, we're starting the search for a new executive, and I
wanted to give you a heads-up about the process and progress. The board of
directors is setting up a recruitment committee who will work with an exec
search firm to find the right person.  The board are in the process of
selecting a search firm at present.  We want to appoint a community
representative to the recruitment committee so that the global Open
Knowledge network is involved in the recruitment.  Local group and working
group leads have been invited to send nominations for the community
representative and to contribute to developing the criteria which should be
considered in selection. Ideas and nominations are being gathered on an

the Advisory Council on the ideas for criteria, and suggestions for other
names which should be considered would be most welcome. The call for input
is open until Thursday October 16th.  The community group leaders will then
select their representative.We'll keep you updated around progress in the
