Dear all,

Following on from recent messages to this group, it's come to my attention
that people can be added to Mailman lists without their permission*.
Therefore we need to address the membership of this list, particularly in
relation to the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR
<https://www.eugdpr.org>) consent requirements that come into effect this
Friday.

others)
*to confirm that you would like to continue your membership of this list.*

*This is not a decision about ongoing membership of the Advisory Council

If you take no action, your address will be removed from this list on
Friday at 15.00 and you won't receive further emails through this list.
