Here is a collection of weird and wonderful seasonal postcards from
the New York Public Library Picture Collection, which you can freely
share with friends and colleagues:

Since its launch on 1st January this year the Public Domain Review has
had 26 articles from leading writers and scholars, broadcasters and
artists from around the world, who are keen to promote the value of
the public domain to a broader public with a mixture of curation,
commentary and criticism.

As it says on the tin, the Review aspires to become a "bounteous
gateway into the whopping plenitude that is the public domain". If you
