Wir möchten Sie herzlich zum Workshop "Open Research: Data Management and Policies in the Austrian national context" einladen, das im Rahmen der diesjährigen CeDEM 2013 am Donnerstag, 23.5. um 11:00-12:30 in Krems stattfinden wird.

Die geplanten Ziele unseres Workshops sind:
. relevante nationale Stakeholder identifizieren
. "Policy Recommendations" formulieren
. technische Lösungen für die Implementierung der Policies erörtern
. politische Lösungen für die Implementierung der Policies erörtern

Es ist uns ein Anliegen diejenigen, die Open Research in Österreich vorantreiben wollen, zusammen zu bringen. Die Gründung des OANA (http://www.oana.at/) auf nationaler und die von Science Europe veröffentlichten "Principles on the Transition to Open Access to Research Publications" (http://www.fwf.ac.at/de/aktuelles_detail.asp?N_ID=540)  auf europäischer Ebene bieten eine gute Basis für die nationale Vernetzung einerseits und für die nationale Umsetzung europäischer Richtlinien andererseits.

We kindly invite you to the Workshop "Open Research: Data Management and Policies in the Austrian national context", which will take place at CeDEM 2013 on Thursday, May 23 at 11:00-12:30 CET in Krems (AT).

The objectives of the workshop are to
. Identify relevant national stakeholders
. Formulate policy recommendations
. Explore technical solutions for policy implementation
. Explore political solutions for policy implementation

Our aim is to bring together all those who are interested in advancing Open Research in Austria. The foundation of the OANA (http://www.oana.at/) on the national level, and the "Principles on the Transition to Open Access to Research Publications" published by Science Europe (http://www.fwf.ac.at/de/aktuelles_detail.asp?N_ID=540) on the European level provide an excellent basis for the creation of a national network on the one hand; and for the implementation of European policies on a national level on the other hand.
