[OKFN - Austria] News from Finnland

Liebe Alle,

vor knapp 4 Jahren hatte ich begonnen, eine OG Linksammlung am österr. eGov Reference Server anzulegen:

·       AT: Open Government Data - Let the sunshine in - Das Öffentlichkeitsprinzip der Verwaltung<http://www.ref.gv.at/Open-Government-Let-the-suns.opengovernment.0.html>

Vor der Fülle des einschlägigen Materials habe ich inzwischen kapituliert. Ich hab nicht die Zeit, das ordentlich zu pflegen und erweitere nur mehr mit herausragenden Links.
Aber als historisches Erstwerk in diesem Bereich hat es sicher seine Bedeutung.

das sind wirklich gute News!!

Dies bringt mich zu einer kurzen ORGA Frage: wie können wir am besten organisieren,
dass solche Stories für die Zukunft zentral dokumentiert sind - zB via einem kleinen Bereich
'success stories' oder eine Linksammlung im Wiki oder auf delicious etc....??

Wo man zB genau diese Story mit dem Tag OpenGLAM ablegt oder eine Erfolgsgeschichte zu
open transport in der Schweiz (zB: http://transport.opendata.ch/) usw - um dies bei Bedarf rasch und gezielt zu finden??

Any ideas - danke für Feedback und Input...

Weiters hat Stefan (K) ja mal begonnen Open Data Dokumente wie Diplomarbeiten et al zu sammeln
- Stefan, wo sind die genau und - Frage an alle - wie können wir dies collaborativ vorantreiben...

Ich fände es gut, wenn wir versuchen diese Infos (Stories, Links, Dokumente) gemeinsam zu verwalten und laufend zu ergänzen
und dies dann als Infrastruktur zB den Mitgliedern - oder auch vollkomen offen - zur Verfügung stellen...

"The Finnish National Gallery is the largest art museum organisation in Finland and a national cultural institution. The main units of the organisation are the Ateneum Art Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma, the Sinebrychoff Art Museum, and the Central Art Archives.

Units of the Finnish National Gallery manage more than 36 000 artworks. The API is a web service used to acquire information about the artworks. The API is developed and published to serve developers who wish to build applications, websites and mash-ups. In addition to the API, The Finnish National Gallery provides a data-package that contains all artwork information in a single data-file.

The license of the published data is Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal (CC0 1.0). You can copy, modify, distribute and perform the work, even for commercial purposes, all without asking permission.

Both the API and the data-package have been released to encourage people to create new applications and services that are beyond our imagination and resources. If you want to ask a question, comment or share your work, please send email to api(at)fng.fi."
