True
The system of GAS is federal, and local authorities can decide withing ths framework for which 'troubles' they can issue gas boetes.

There's a Federal legislation on GAS, but the execution is left to the municipality, hence "Gemeentelijke Administratieve Sanctie", Dutch for Municipal Administrative Sanction.

Even though the legislation is Federal, statistics about them should be found at the local level, IMHO.

Isn't GAS boetes something federal? Or do local governments have these lists? Bart, do you know anything about this?

Hej Wouter,

Not sure where to find that either, perhaps tweet to the flemish gov? If they don't know perhaps they'll guide you to the right person.

Bests,

Hey All

I am wondering whether or not statistical data about "GAS-boetes" is open data?

If so, what is the best way to get it?

I think their was an email on how to request a dataset a few months ago (at least I think it was sent on the okfn ML), but I can't seem to find it.

Kind regards

Wouter
