[okfn-br] Portuguese comments on FB

Hi, bellow the comments sent in private for me by Heloisa Pait, from our
advisory council. For this reason, Susanne, we should consultr our
community beforehand to start a campaign if you want our support. No
worries tho, lesson learned to improve next time. :)

opiniões em público e não concentrarem e mim. Quanto mais olhos, muitas
vezes é melhor. Respondo a Heloisa em breve, mas, é claro, qualquer um aqui

We should not endorse this petition. Divisive and poorly written, it will
do more harm than good to our goals in fostering understanding about the
need for open knowledge in our society.

Acho que no geral a gente precisaria estabelecer algum tipo de consulta
formal para endossar posições políticas. E, especialmente até essas
eleições, que prometem ser muito polarizadas, todo o cuidado é pouco para
não sermos capturados por um ou outro campo, ou por quem não tem uma boa
compreensão do que acontece aqui.

Nossa questão - o conhecimento aberto - já é suficientemente
revolucionária. Não precisamos nos posicionar com relação a políticas
específicas de um ou outro governante ou candidato a não ser que estas
estejam relacionadas com nossa questão; nesse caso é preciso ter
objetividade e postura cívica.

Se a Rede pelo Conhecimento Livre se firmar no Brasil, amanhã nós estaremos
sendo chamados para audiências no Congresso, teremos um peso dentro do
debate nacional. Essa é uma possibilidade concreta, e vai nos exigir
responsabilidade e foco. Como cidadãos, cada um de nós tem sua opinião,
isso é ótimo. Mas a Rede deve manter o foco.
