Hi everyone,

I'm working on a description of ETL and Middleware for nonprofit data
management, and I was wondering if there are any alternatives to
OpenRefine. A quick Google search didn't really turn anything up. Any
suggestions?

Hi Kyle

there is an open source tool available called LODMS that is an ETL tool for data management - where plugings for OpenRefine and/or other tools are already in place / or can be developed quite easily...

See: https://github.com/lodms

Maybe this helps - best regards - martin

It may depend on exactly what you want. Regularly on the OpenRefine list people post requests for functionality that tend to be answered 'look at dedicated ETL solutions'. Open Source ETL solutions mentioned include Talend OpenStudio or Pentaho Data Integration

I don't think these are quite 'alternatives' to Refine but it may depend on what exactly you want to to do and the skills/resources you have available.
