Ladies and Gentlemen.

I wanted to thank each of you for your commitment and dedication to the 
Open Data Speed Dating event today - and to the movement. We made a 
statement and planted some seeds. I also think we attracted some new 
followers. All good

There were meaningful messages delivered between Curators and 
Enthusiasts, between Curators and Curators. Richard Pietro has already 
put his thoughts and reflections into a blog (see link below). As part 
of continuing the discussion, it would be interesting to collect all 
perspectives. We can build on this.

So continue to tweet ideas to the #gtecdata hashtag, use the email 
contact list, share your blogs ... Open is as Open does - so the key is 
to share openly.

We wanted to put the spotlight on Canadian Open Data. We did that and 
frankly have contributed to thinking that applies globally.
