[okfn-discuss] sysadmin questions

Dear Martin (and anyone else who has relevant knowledge),

The OKFN systems are currently hosted on a dedicated server in texas. 
The machine is running debian and has installed (roughly):
   * Apache 2.0 + fastcgi
   * Exim 4 + Courier
   * Mailman
   * Postgresql
   * Mysql
   * Drupal
   * Moinmoin

I was wondering whether you had any recommendations about:

a) Securing the machine
b) Monitoring the machine
