Dear All,
After nearly six months of work a new version of the KForge software is
ready for release. As you no doubt know, KForge/KnowledgeForge is one
the OKF’s main activities with the KForge software being used to run the
KnowledgeForge service. Two years after work first started on the
project, KnowledgeForge is really beginning to live up to the original
vision, hosting, among other projects, 2GB of parliamentary data and
parsing software, an open repository of cave data, open shakespeare and
kforge itself.
The 0.12 release of KForge provides a large set of of new features and
bugfixes. More details in the release notes below and on the KForge
project website (http://www.kforgeproject.com/).
Regards,
Rufus Pollock

#### About KForge ####
KForge is an open-source (GPL) system for managing software and
knowledge projects. It re-uses existing best-of-breed tools such as a
versioned storage (subversion), a tracker (trac), and wiki (trac or
moinmoin), integrating them with the system's own facilities (projects,
users, permissions etc). KForge also provides a complete web interface
for project administration as well a fully-developed plugin system so
that new services and features can be easily added.
