Dear All,

Further to the original mail about a "CKAN Package Party" (see below), 
at the last irc meeting we decided to hold our first one:

   * This coming Wednesday (12th or March) from 8pm to 10pm
   * Virtually (gathering online on #okfn on irc.oftc.net)

currently gives full details. If you'd like to join in, even if just for 
15 minutes, please add yourself there. Look forward to seeing people on 
irc on the night and let's hope we can make it to our target of 200 
packages.

Dear All,

At the last irc meeting we discussed the idea of having a CKAN "Package
Party". This would involve getting together (physically or virtually) to
add packages to http://www.ckan.net with the aim of going from the
current 137 packages to 200 or more during the course of the party. So
the first thing to ask is: who'd be interested in participating. You can
either respond here or just add your name on the wiki page:

The next question is where and when. Given our disparate location I
think it will probably be best to do this  virtually -- though, of
course, all those in a particular location could meet up at the pub etc.

The remaining question then is what date to go for? I've put the section
from the wiki page below but basically we're looking an evening mon-thur
on the weeks of the 25th of Feb or first week of March (3rd) or some
time later in March if these aren't feasible. Again if you've got days
you'd prefer (or can't do) either let me know or just add details on the
wiki page.

Would have to be in evening or on weekend. Looking to schedule 1-2h. As
fridays and weekends are difficult main options for day would be
mon-thur. This suggests:

    * Mon-Thur of week of 25th of Feb (25-28th)
    * Mon-Thur of week of 3rd of March (3rd-6th)
    * later in March
