I hope we are increasingly moving to a stage where the code components and
the data components are all fully Open. The skill is then assembling them
together. Where this is a private operation it's probably a reasonable
trade-secret. Where it's a public project (e.g. reproducible science as in
climate, bioinformatics) then all the glueware should be Open as well.
That's VERY hard but we have to start trying. Victoria Stodden is pioneering
the Reproducibility theme.
