I recently inquired with Nature Precedings as to whether they allow to
deposit theses, and the answer (yes) is pasted in below.

 Dear Daniel Mietchen,

Yes, PhD theses can be uploaded to Nature Precedings. We generally
encourage authors to append the word "Thesis" or "Dissertation" to the
end of their thesis title so the nature of the document is clear to
readers. Please see the following documents for examples:

 - http://precedings.nature.com/documents/2464/version/1
 - http://precedings.nature.com/documents/4201/version/1
 - http://precedings.nature.com/documents/2355/version/1

Best wishes,

The Nature Precedings Team
