Excellent choice to choose wordpress. Wordpress may become a standard way to
build websites in the future.... who knows..... but it is certain that there
is a big community of people supporting it.

We've been planning/working on a redesign of OKF website for over a
year [1] and it's now getting there (thanks to the web dev efforts of
Stefanie Doll and the designs of Clara Todd and Mary Hutchinson!):

This is a wordpress based site and at the moment only the front page
is mocked up and there is clearly quite a few things to fix. If you
spot something wrong or have a suggestion please note it in this pad:

Also we need a volunteer editor or two to help us migrate across old
material and add new stuff.

If anyone is interested in this please put your details on the pad.
