[okfn-discuss] Welcome to the OKFN France National Group!

Hello OKFN global team,

A quick bit of happy news - a new incubating National Group has just
entered our global network - OKFN France! The group originates in Paris,
and will be led by 5 individuals involved in local open data + knowledge
initiatives in the area - Pierre Chrzanowski, Samuel Goeta, Primavera de
Filippi, Peter Schioler and Kat Borlongan.

If you know of people in France who should get involved, or if you want to
get the incubating OKFN France National Group engaged in your projects,
workshops and events, please introduce yourself via the discussion list at <
http://lists.okfn.org/mailman/listinfo/okfn-fr>.

The OKFN France incubating group will be holding their first meetup in
December, so now is a great time to join. An introductory blog post will
also be published soon on the global OKFN Blog with more details.

The team is a great bunch, most of whom made the trip to Helsinki for
OKFestival this year, so please take a moment to welcome them to our
community!
