[okfn-discuss] The Public Domain Review Fundraising Drive!

Hello all,

The Open Knowledge Foundation's project "The Public Domain Review" has this
week launched it's major fundraising drive!

With our initial funding from the Shuttleworth Foundation now come to an
end, we are turning to our readers and the OKF community to help us
continue our mission – to promote the public domain as an indispensable
public good, and to curate and showcase the most interesting
out-of-copyright works on the web.

We need to reach a target of $20,000 (ca. £13,000) to keep the project
alive into 2014.

Now in the 3rd day of the campaign we've raised almost $6000 but still a
long way to go!

It would be great if you could spread the word as much as possible to your
friends, family and colleagues - and, if your feeling generous, of course
feel free to donate yourselves!
