Dear all,

Let me first thank you for your support to the Linked Open Vocabulary
Project [1] updated on a daily basis by a team of 4 volunteer curators.

I today request the Open Knowledge Foundation support for another project:
the SPARQL Endpoint Status [2]. This project have monitored hourly since
February 2011 the availability of all public SPARQL Endpoints listed in
CKAN Datahub and run more than 7.000.000 tests. All results generated by
this project are published in archives and in RDF format through a SPARQL
Endpoint. It is used for instance by the community in a validator to assess
the quality of a dataset [3]. In a collaboration with other institutes
(Digital Enterprise Research Institute and Pontificia Universidad Catolica
de Chile), we are developing a new version of this monitoring tool to give
users more insights about SPARQL endpoints in terms of Discoverability,
Interoperability, Efficiency and Reliability.

We would like the foundation to host this future version and offer a
sustainable future for this living project. As we always did, the code,
results, tools will stay open to the community.

Thank you again for your action and support.
Best regards,
Pierre-Yves.

PS. the project proposal form [4] is not available anymore.
