Simone, this is really interesting. I can't watch the video right now, but
I flipped through the slides and I appreciated the thoughtfulness of the
process -- and the excellent conclusion. :)

A few of us put together a small best practices page on US federal
government licensing here: http://theunitedstates.io/licensing

And it all boils down to the same thing - use CC0. It's as or more
important here in the US, where gov't works are public domain by default --
but only domestically. And even then, there are circumstances where
domestically the situation can become ambiguous. We include some real world
example of US gov't projects which CC0'd their work.

I'm definitely curious as to how your presentation was received in Italy,
and if there's any way to be helpful from here.
