[okfn-discuss] Welcoming our newest round of Local Groups

Hello all,

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to the latest round of Local Groups
in our Open Knowledge global <http://okfn.org/network>
network<http://okfn.org/network>!



It is with great excitement that we can announce the establishment of new
Local Groups with Ambassadors in El Salvador, Hungary, Iran, Malta,
Paraguay, Philippines and Romania. They are joining a network which now
stretch over 45 countries worldwide, and will be acting as local
evangelists, coordinators and representatives for their regions, helping
seed new ideas and activities. They will play an essential role in
promoting open knowledge locally while helping to build a global community
of like-minded folk around the world.
