  Dear Niels,

  Thank you for applying to be an Open Knowledge Foundation Local 
Initiative- we're very happy to tell you that we would love to have you 
on board as our newest Local Initiative!

  You are part of Round 7 of our Local Groups intake, together with a 
few others others, and you're joining a community of around 28 
Ambassadors, and 10 Local Groups around the world. I'll introduce you to 
them in the next few days, and send you an email with next steps. I'd 
also like to take this opportunity to introduce myself - I'm Zara, and 
together with my colleagues Christian (who I believe you already know!) 
and Neal, I'll be working to support you in your position, as well as 
more widely supporting our Local Groups community. If you have any 
questions at all during this, please don't hesitate to contact either us 
via the local at okfn.org email address, which goes to all three of us.

  Thanks also for your patience during this process; as I think 
Christian already explained, we were a little overwhelmed with the 
interest in the scheme, so we're in the process of working through the 
applications. The wonderful response in applications also means that 
colleagues from across the world will shortly be joining you as fellow 
Ambassadors and coordinators of Local Initiatives, which we're really 
excited about!

  As per your application, we'd like to invite your group to be the Open 
Knowledge Foundation Local Initiative for Norway. We hope you choose to 
accept your Initiative role, and we are very much looking forward to 
welcoming you as a key member of the Open Knowledge Foundation 
community!
