Hi Kat,

All of that is very good news and best of luck for the Open Data Transport
development in France. It's quite a challenge !
We will be of course be very happy to help. And same for the local
community, it's a good thing to start good relationships with them.
I am also lobbying Reims City and Metropole to launch their Open Data
Program. OKFN could be a big help here as well.

- *Meetup*: Concerning the date for the Meetup, we already asked to la
Cantine, so I would suggest keeping that date of the 11 or 12 of Dec. And
if they cant we will ask to La Fonderie. But I think the sooner the
better. And having Le Web, which by the way is not really an open event - 2000€
the ticket :( - one week before is not necessary a bad thing.

- *Edgeryders *: Yes should be good that one of us join you a the
Edgeryders event. What is the date ? I am not sure of my december agenda
yet, but I could try to make it.

*- TEDX Paris :* 27 Nov, it's quite short notice! That would be great to
participate, but I am personnaly not confident enough to speak in the name
of OKFN about projects I did not work on a lot yet. Others, what do you
think ?

- *Next calls /Agenda : *I created an OKFN France agenda, we planned a
wikipedia session next tuesday afternoon to revamp the OKFN French webpage.
We can plan a call further in the week. *What about Thusrday 5:30 pm ?*

- *Community outreach :* We will start contacting French Open Data actors
next week. List is on Google Doc. Main goal is to announce the creation of
the group and to engage good relationships with them for the future.

Also, I don't mind communicating in english but I think it will be
important to communicate mostly in french on okfn-fr at lists.okfn.org
Kat can you confirm to me you are registered on that list ?

Have a good week end all

Pierre
