Hi Tim,
I know that certain projects have been grant funded (e.g. Annotator)
and we have applied for grants to cover work on other projects. At
times, we have also charged for consultancy services or for producing
'white-label' versions of our applications which organisations can
tailor to their needs. Then there is obviously the support link on the
website, where people can donate but I don't know how much comes in
that way or how actively this method is promoted.
I don't personally know the answer on the restrictions - I don't think
they are explicitly stated on the website - maybe someone else can
help?
Why do you ask? I was having a similar conversation with someone the
other day, so it is clearly something people want to know )))
