[okfn-help] Wiki Spam (?) User Accounts

Dear All,

I am now getting notifications from our Wiki about new user accounts in an
attempt to monitor spam (thanks Nils).

The problem is that accounts that look like spam accounts are being set up,
but not contributing anything.

As it's hard to be sure from a user name alone what is a spam account, how
should I deal with these accounts? Presumably, everyone agrees it is
unadvisable to block an account that has made no spam edits no matter how
ridiculous the user name might look?
