I should report here that we are having some real issues with our
hoster at present -- apparently they are having problems with the
latest version of OpenVZ they are using to do virtualization. We have
been talking with them intensively in the last couple of weeks to get
a proper resolution for this. One of the things we are actively
considering is moving our wordpress multisite deployment to a separate
dedicated wordpress hoster.
