[okfn-help] Disqus and permission culture on OKFn sites

Hi all,

after seeing the comment bellow about a blog post on the central OKFn
blog and asked myself why not anwering the the blog comments section,
I wondered some things:

1) Do the comments made using discuss are free/open content? Have
someone checked that? Sorry, I don't have time to read the terms of
service <http://help.disqus.com/customer/portal/articles/466260-terms-of-service>
now.

2) If this content is free, do we keep a back up of them on OKFn
servers? Imagine the case the company that maintain Disqus closes.

By the way, most OKFn site don't make explicit they use an open
license (I have added explcititly on OKFn Brasil site), as I pointed
out a few months ago

This only perpatuates the permission culture
