Subject: [Okfn-irl] OGP Civil Society Forum Meeting - 17:30 Tuesday 11 February 2014 in TASC's offices

Dear all,

There will be a meeting of the OGP Civil Society Forum on Tuesday 11th February at 17:30 in TASC's offices on 14-15 Parliament Street. The purpose of this meeting is to update the Forum on the first meeting held with DPER officials and civil society volunteers, at which the OGP Joint Working Group was established, and to seek input ahead of the second meeting of this working group scheduled for 13th February 2014.

The first meeting of the joint working group was held on Thursday 6th February in DEPR's offices. DPER officials attending were: William Beausang, Evelyn O'Connor, Claire Martinez and Conor McCann. The civil society members in attendance were: Anne Colgan; Antoin Ó Lachtnain (Digital Rights Ireland); Denis Parfenov (OKFN Ireland/Active Citizen); Flora Fleischer (OKFN Ireland); Nuala Haughey (TASC/TI Ireland); and Andrew Jackson (An Taisce).

Ahead of next Tuesday's meeting we will circulate the agreed action points arising from the joint working group meeting. Denis has already circulated the documents which DPER shared with us in that meeting. I would urge you in particular to read in advance DPER's Review document of the Report on the Consultation with Civil Society held last summer which contained 62 Action Plan proposals.

If you intend to come on Tuesday night, please fill in this doodle poll so we can keep track of numbers : http://doodle.com/gtymmevhvicvi6i3

Best regards,

Nuala
