[Okfn-irl] Next Steps for OGP in Ireland?

Hi Evelyn,

thank you for the update and yes! - we are ready to progress & establish a
steering group. We appreciate and support the aim to have Ireland's first
OGP Action Plan ready for the OGP Regional Conference at the beginning of
May!

We agree that it is vital to move forward with the citizen engagement piece
of developing & seeing through the OGP Action Plan asap. This will allow us
to start work on the actual plan once William has updated the Government.
To achieve this we are suggesting to have a first meeting with the steering
group / working group asap. Perhaps Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evening
next week would suit?

The meeting should be attended by members of relevant government, public
service and civil society representative. I will engage the community to
develop the list of civil society representatives. Please add relevant
representatives from the government and public service to attend a first
meeting to the 'Steering group Members' document

Adding the relevant representatives and organizing a meeting to discuss how
the civil engagement process could work are the first steps we need to
take. Indeed, a meeting could be arranged for the week of 27th January. In
the light of the time left and needing to move fast the sooner we can have
a 1st meeting the better. Please let us know if this will work.
