Hey everyone,

A message from our friends in the OGP:

Don’t forget to register and submit ideas for the OGP Summit (27-29 October
2015, Mexico City)

Dear colleagues,

Hope you are well.

I wanted to write to you personally to make sure you have all the details
on the 2015 Open Government Partnership Global Summit that will be
held in Mexico
City on October 27, 28 and 29. It might be a good opportunity to revitalize
the push for OGP in Poland! Could I ask you to share with all relevant
civil society open government actors in Poland?

This gathering of more than 1,500 practitioners will be a chance to share
learning and continue working towards securing commitments from governments
to promote transparency, empower citizens, fight corruption, and harness
new technologies to ensure governmental decisions are guided by citizen's
needs.

The 2015 OGP Global Summit will focus on sharing the progress and
challenges of the open government agenda, and on how the principles of open
government could support the implementation of Sustainable Development
Goals of the United Nations Post-2015 Agenda. Additionally, the Summit will
explore ways in which open government improves public service provision,
responsiveness and participation mechanisms at the subnational level.

Pre-registration - deadline September 28 (for travel support July 28)

First of all, don’t forget to pre-register <http://tinyurl.com/OGPSummit>
before September 28. If you want to be considered for travel support, make
sure you pre-register before July 28th. We will start confirming
participation as soon as possible.

Call for proposals - deadline August 14

In keeping with the OGP’s spirit of cooperation and co-creation, and our
belief that “good ideas come from everywhere”, the agenda for the Global
Summit will be based on an open call for proposals from participants. We
are inviting all interested parties to submit a description of the session
they would like to lead during the Summit. Fill in the form here
<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1IqDDZVLFDwJP9zQ-Y68HlEr-zQOq7i2nR0owSmNeBHU/viewform>.
More about the selection criteria here <http://tinyurl.com/OGPCriteria> and

through your mailing lists, newsletters and via social media. To make sure
you have all the basics:
