Great! If you need more details let me know it. We may want to contact
Mozilla about this as we are using PDF.JS so we can do joint announcement.
What do you think?

I'm not really sure, because all the work I've done is about loading full
pages as all the info that we have obtained when discussing this type of
problems with the researchers, they usually think that providing context to
the users is good, so I've been only looking into loading one or more pages
per task.
In principle it should not be "difficult" but not too "easy" :-) Let me
explain, the PDF.JS loads the PDF page into a canvas element, so you can
actually zoom in/out of it and add offsets. Thus, it may be possible to
specify a region of the PDF if you know the coordinates or something
similar (if you check the view.js from Mozilla you will see they have
something like this idea but it is not fully working for the moment, at
least for me). We can ask directly about this feature to Mozilla :-)

Cheers,
