I'd consider the possibility that you're taking this too seriously :) I
think the OKF/OKFN divide was planned at some point but never - to my
knowledge - filled with much meaning... OKFN just sounds nicer, I
guess.

And another variant spotted -- looks like the Facebook account is named
OKFNetwork, so perhaps OKF & OKFN really are the same thing?  Anyone
know for sure?
