[Okfn-se] summary : first inter-nordic okf-related call 2014.03.05

Hello everyone,

So, there was a bunch of us, form across the Nordic region, who congregated
on a Hangout session just now.

We managed to include Iceland ( thanks Tryggvi ), Norway ( thanks Heather),
and OKFN-local/Denmark ( thanks Christian), with myself being the
Finnish(-Danish) connection.
Niels Erik from OKFN Denmark also tried joining, but was defeated by the
local firewall :(

You'll find some notes I made of this meeting linked further below.

In any event, some of the main things that came out of the call includes:

- There's good enthusiasm and inspiration to work on Nordic open
cooperation.
We agree that we'll keep these calls going periodically - at least monthly.
So far the plan is to do a call on the first Wednesday of every month. So...
--> The next call is on the 2nd of April 10:00.
( We'll continue working on finding a good video conferencing solution -
one that's perhaps more free and that isn't hindered by firewalls..)

- There's good conviction to keep working across the Nordic counties -
projects like School of Data and collaborating on opening similar datasets
are some of the more immediate things that people thought we could work on.
( Of course, the agenda for what to cooperate on is far from set - so feel
free to contribute ).
